More About Full Spectrum CBD Oil

Why Ned CBD Oil Is The Best For You And The Planet

CBD’s impressive array of purported health benefits and the growing number of research studies emerging in support of them has not landed on deaf ears. Users across the globe report using CBD to help with everything from pain and inflammation, to stress, anxiety, sleep, mood, digestion, exercise recovery and much more.

Because CBD is a cannabinoid that interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system it has amazing potential for numerous positive health effects. The endocannabinoid system is located throughout every part of the body and is in control of every other biological system including the skeletal, muscular, immune, nervous, digestive, lymphatic, cardiovascular, endocrine, and reproductive systems. By targeting the endocannabinoid system, CBD can thus affect a wide array of biological processes. This has led to CBD’s more recent role as a modern panacea.

CBD oil, especially in the form of a full spectrum hemp product can provide functional support for a number of positive health changes that help the body to heal and thrive. To harness this natural goodness we’ve created an unmatched array of the best CBD products on the planet. When you choose Ned, you can rest assured that you’re getting the purest, most potent, and highest quality hemp extract on the market.

Choosing Health and Happiness Through CBD Begins With The Right Product

CBD or Cannabidiol is plant-based cannabinoid that interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system, a system responsible for maintaining whole-body balance and wellness. The hemp flower, which is the only part of the hemp plant that goes into Ned’s CBD products is rich not only in CBD but also in other cannabinoids, terpenes and bioactive compounds that contribute to the health benefits of hemp and CBD.

Unlike products made with CBD isolate, full spectrum CBD oils retain an abundant array of the hemp flower’s active ingredients. These active ingredients include cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids which act synergistically through what is referred to as the “entourage effect” to enhance each other’s desired effects.

Full spectrum is just the beginning. Read on to learn what separates our CBD products from the competition.

Organically Grown, Biodynamic and Poison Free

Every hemp flower that enters Ned’s Full Spectrum Hemp oil collection is harvested from farmer Johnathan’s organic and biodynamic farm in Paonia, Colorado. Farmer Johnathan is a renaissance man who uses his naturalist wisdom, love, and the biodynamic calendar to grow the world’s best hemp. We know because we did a lot of research, but to be extra sure we third-party lab test all of our CBD products to ensure no chemical pesticides, fertilizers, heavy metals or mycotoxins get passed on to our customers or the environment.

Biodynamic farming goes beyond organic using practices that treat the farm and its environment as one living breathing organism. These practices include planting according to a biodynamic calendar and using hyper-local natural measures to continuously maintain and restore soil quality, protect plants from pests, and ensure the highest level of symbiotic cooperation among all of the farm’s natural stakeholders. Biodynamic farming is a do no harm and leave everything better than you found it approach to organic farming aimed at restoring and improving the environment rather than taking from it. Every bottle of Ned, gives Farmer Johnathan greater means to improve the planet.

Extracted Exclusively from Hemp Flowers

Hemp flowers or buds are the creams of the hemp crop. Hemp flowers possess trichome cells that produce all of the bioactive compounds which contribute to the hemp plant’s array of purported health benefits. Hemp flowers are the CBD, terpene, and flavonoid rich fruit of the hemp plant. They thus make for the most potent and therapeutic hemp extracts.

Ned’s products are never diluted with stems, leaves, or stalks. As a result, our full spectrum hemp oils are full of active terpenes, flavonoids, and wonderful cannabinoids like CBD, CBN, CBC, and CBG, as well as less than 0.03% THC to assure that our extracts won’t get you high.

Full Of Minor Cannabinoids

Cannabinoids like CBD, CBN, CBC, CBG, THC, and over 100 others can be found in the cannabis plant’s flowers. All of them are thought to exert slightly different therapeutic effects on the body. Together, they exert synergistic effects to help support and promote the natural growth and healing functions of our body’s own endocannabinoid system.

Experts as well as studies into CBD’s effects on pain and anxiety suggest that the effects of CBD oil can be enhanced by the presence of other cannabinoids by way of a full spectrum extract or whole plant hemp product. We believe this, so our products are full of every cannabinoid, terpene, and flavonoid we can extract.

Rich In Terpenes

Terpenes are the aromatic molecules that give plants their scent. They have been shown to have various beneficial effects on the body, including their potential to provide functional support for pain, anxiety, stress, and sleep. Terpenes are also thought to amplify the beneficial effects of cannabinoids through what is known as the entourage effect. The terpenes found in the greatest concentrations in Ned’s full spectrum CBD oils include Linalool, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Humulene, and Guaiol.

Cold Extracted Using Organic Ethanol

To retain the highest potency of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids we use a slow and gentle food grade-organic ethanol extraction method at -40°F. The frigid temperature helps retain the greatest abundance of bioactive compounds. Following the cold extraction, residual ethanol is gently lifted from the extract leaving an aromatic, clean, and pure full-spectrum hemp oil that is naturally full of powerful active ingredients.

Third-Party Lab Tested

The state of Colorado requires potency testing for all CBD products to ensure that the amount of CBD listed on the label is actually what is in the product. We go a few steps further. All of our products undergo additional third-party lab testing to provide our consumers with a full breakdown of active ingredients and ensure that our products are free from pesticides and other potential contaminants. You can find all of our lab results here.

We Donate To The Planet And Beyond

We donate 1% of all revenue to 1% For The Planet, a select group of organizations championing causes that include deforestation, climate change, nature therapy, and support for farmers and indigenous people. In addition, Ned has provided financial support to a variety of other organizations ranging from those that support firefighters, planting trees, military personnel, and a very cool youth-led nonprofit called PERIOD.

Hand Crafted With Love and Integrity

We follow our products from seed to bottle ensuring the highest quality control at every step of the process. From the moment farmer Johnathan consults his biodynamic calendar for the ideal time to plant the hemp seeds based on the positions of the moon and planets, throughout the plant’s lifecycle, harvest, our slow and gentle extraction process, blending and bottling, to shipping, each hand that touches our products is full of integrity, has a deep connection to the natural world and believes in a “plants before pills” approach to healing.

If you are keen on supporting a small, local, group of people who give back to the environment and believe in plant-powered goodness as a first-line defense against common ailments we invite you to join Ned’s thousands happy, like-minded, and caring customers who have chosen health and happiness through Ned’s CBD products. What is CBD?

CBD is short for cannabidiol, the main cannabinoid found in hemp. CBD interacts with our body’s endocannabinoid system to help promote healing, homeostasis and alleviate the effects of stress, pain and inflammation.

How Does CBD Work?

CBD interacts with our body’s endocannabinoid system in multiple ways. However, scientists believe that CBD exerts its main effects by inhibiting the breakdown of our body’s own endocannabinoid anandamide. Known as the pleasure or bliss molecule, anandamide is involved in promoting homeostasis and regulating processes that include stress, anxiety, inflammation, pain perception, sleep, neuronal signaling, motivation, metabolism, mood and even fertility.

What Is CBD Oil Good For?

Because CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system which is present throughout every part of our body it is capable of exerting a wide variety of beneficial health effects on the body. Users and studies report that CBD can provide functional support for pain, inflammation, sleep, anxiety, hormonal balance, neurogenesis or the formation of new brain cells, and much more.

What Is The Difference Between Full Spectrum Hemp Extract and CBD?

CBD or cannabidiol is just one component of full spectrum hemp oil, which as a whole plant extract also contains a number of other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, all of which have their own unique therapeutic properties. Research suggests that these bioactive compounds all work together to enhance each other’s benefits in an entourage effect, making full spectrum hemp oil more powerful than CBD alone.

What Is The Endocannabinoid System?

The endocannabinoid system is our internal cell signaling network. Its messages affect every other system in our bodies and therefore all biological functions. Responsible for maintaining homeostasis or whole body balance, the endocannabinoid system is involved in processes that include but are not limited to inflammation, metabolism, cardiovascular function, bone growth and remodeling, muscle formation, liver function, reproduction, skin health, nerve function, cognition, immunoregulation, stress, neuromodulation, microcirculation and the autonomic nervous system.

Researchers believe that endocannabinoid deficiency may be the root cause of many disease processes. Studies suggest that nourishing and caring for the endocannabinoid system can promote healing and balance throughout every part of the body.

Should You Eat Chocolate With Your CBD?

The endocannabinoid anandamide has been isolated in dark chocolate. Since increased levels of anandamide appear to be behind the powerful effects of CBD, some researchers theorize that eating chocolate, and thus further increasing the amount of anandamide in our bodies can maximize CBD’s benefits.
