Who We Are
After his mother’s cancer diagnosis in 2014, Ret decided to learn all he could about natural remedies and holistic healing, as well as the many brands offering natural supplement products. What he found was a frustrating lack of transparency about the process, people and ingredients behind the brands and products.
Meanwhile, after spending a decade working 70-plus-hour work-weeks, Adriaan had increasingly realized that something was fundamentally out of balance. Those feelings eventually culminated in a full-blown panic attack in front of his entire company. He knew a change was needed and spent the next 2 years living out of a backpack and rediscovering the virtues of nature, simplicity, and true human connection.
In their respective experiences, they each built the foundations required to establish the values and principles behind the company that would later become Ned.
Rather than launching with a big team, outside investors, or a deep marketing budget, they opted to keep things simple. They focused on sourcing the best ingredients available, operating with total transparency, sticking to strict guidelines for sourcing and production, and then topping it off with a best-in-class customer experience.
Today, Ned has established a community many thousands strong, has shipped hundreds of thousands of products around the world, and
has given back hundreds of thousands to for-purpose initiatives.
He knew he wanted to help share the positive benefits with as many people as he could, and after many conversations with Ret and Adriaan, Ned is thrilled to be welcomed into the Foria family so that we can continue pioneering solutions that redefine holistic wellness — and provide you with even more ways to achieve your most embodied, rested and healthy lifestyle.
