Full-spectrum CBD products can have up to 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabis cannabinoid that produces a ‘high’.

CBD, a cannabinoid, elicits cellular changes and benefits by binding to and/or interacting with at least 76 molecular targets in our body. Our body’s endocannabinoid system relies on cannabinoid signaling and is a major pathway for CBD’s effects on pain, inflammation, and neurotransmitter activity.

Full-spectrum hemp oil is a hemp flower extract that has various cannabinoids such as CBD and other active compounds. In contrast, hemp oil is a hemp seed extract and does not contain CBD. Full-spectrum hemp products may be used for pain, inflammation, skin conditions, insomnia, and anxiety.

What is CBD isolate vs full spectrum?

CBD isolate is 99% pure CBD extracted from cannabis, but devoid of all other active compounds. Full-spectrum oil is a whole-plant extract rich in CBD and an array of over 480 beneficial hemp flower compounds. These compounds have synergistic effects and provide more benefits together vs. CBD isolates.

What is the endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a cell-signaling network located throughout the body. It produces endocannabinoids that bind to cannabinoid receptors to trigger cellular changes. Cannabinoids such as CBD interact with the ECS, which plays a role in most body functions including sleep, pain, and immunity.

How does CBD affect the endocannabinoid system?
