MEET THE MAKERS
Balance Blend is slow crafted with love from seed to bottle by an extraordinary group of women. The USDA certified organic hemp in Balance Blend is specially grown by three generations of women (Farmer Jonathan’s wife, daughter, and mother!) on a one-acre plot on their farm adjacent to the strawbale home Jonathan built for the family with his own two hands.
MEET ANNIE, THE BOTANIST
Annie is the botanist behind all our blends. She specially formulated Balance Blend and ethically wildcrafted, locally sourced, and personally grew all the ingredients herself, right here in Colorado. Annie spent years traveling through Central and South America, studying the healing power of plants. She’s an expert in all things homesteading thanks to her residency at Hidden Villa, a farm and wilderness reserve nestled in Los Altos Hills that once housed Cesar Chavez during the United Farm Workers movement. MEET VIDA, THE PRODUCER
Vida is the producer behind all our blends. She specially slow crafts Balance Blend in a two week process that involves infusing the red raspberry leaf, red clover blossom, dandelion, lemon balm, nettle, oastraw and milky oats in warm organic MCT oil and then combining with the evening primrose, chia and black seed oils to create a luscious, velvety base oil before adding the full-spectrum hemp oil.
