Ned: What are the core value(s) that guide your daily life?
Kat: To live with integrity and authenticity. To serve the planet (humanity + nature) in a way that promotes harmony, health, and balance. To do my inner work so that I may grow and evolve to be the highest vibration and expression of myself.
Ned: What is your idea of contentment?
Kat: Living from an open heart with peace, love, acceptance, compassion and gratitude.
Ned: What is a super simple practice you do that’s improved your life?
Kat: Using Kailo's chakra tools with their corresponding rituals is a super simple practice I use daily to balance my chakras, raise my vibration, and optimize my energy.
Ned: What’s the small change you’ve made that’s had the biggest impact?
Kat: Cultivating more presence.
Ned: What’s something you want to start doing?
Kat: I want to continue overcoming my fears. I have always had this limiting belief that I am musically inept. It has made me self-conscious to sing, play a drum, or even shake a rattle. I have started becoming more comfortable with my voice and singing, but it is the drum that I've always felt called to learn and play, but simply haven't because of this lack of confidence. I even made my own Native American drum but have hardly played it because of this blockage I have. I would love to overcome this and start playing my drum.
Ned: What’s something you want to stop doing?
Kat: Stressing over life's unknowns. I have so much trust in things unfolding exactly as they are meant to, yet I still find myself stressing over things that are beyond my control or feeling anxious about the unknown future.
Ned: What’s something not many people know about you?
Kat: After graduating high school I spent 4 years traveling/living all throughout Central and South America. As a result, I speak Spanish and Latin America still feels like home to me. The culture is a part of my soul.
Ned: What’s your favorite daily ritual?
Kat: My morning practices are my favorite daily rituals: Meditation, pranayama and asana.
Ned: What’s your favorite form of exercise?
Kat: I can't pick just one favorite! I love to dance, snowboard/splitboard, hike, mountain bike, SUP (stand-up paddle board) and do yoga.
Ned: Who do you follow that inspires you most?
Kat: Spirit. It's my connection to Source, my connection to nature, my intuition, and my guides who inspire and support me in the most profound ways.
Ned: What’s something you’re grateful for?
Kat: Wow, so many things! All the things - I'm grateful for my whole life! Everyday I'm blown away by how blessed I am to have such an amazing and supportive family and such a healthy and loving partnership. I'm grateful to live in one of the most beautiful places in the world, where I am surrounded by nature and an incredible community of inspiring and fun humans!
