Meet Rory, Ned's Head of Content

When she’s not hard at work crafting campaigns and writing your favorite Ned newsletters, you can find her playing with her daughter, tending to her garden, drinking copious amounts of tea and fixing up her 200 year old farmhouse.

Ned: Can you share a bit about yourself?

Rory: I’m a wife and mother living in a 200 year old farmhouse (well, more like an old converted sheep barn).

Ned: What are some of your hobbies?

Rory: I like to play with my daughter, tend to my garden, putter around the house, drink tea and observe the seasons.

Ned: What are your core values?

Rory: Family, faith, joy, love, peace, simplicity.

Ned: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Rory: 1. Lean not on your own understanding. 2. Be quick to hear, slow to speak, quick to forgive, slow to anger. 3. Be a blessing to others.

Ned: What’s your favorite quote?

Rory: “For everything there is a season.”

Ned: What do you do at Ned?

Rory: Content. I’m the friendly face behind your favorite Ned newsletter!

Ned: Why do you love working at Ned?

Rory: As a wife and mom, the fact that Ned has always supported part-time remote work (and brought me on after an extended career break) is a complete game changer for me and my family. I’m very blessed to have been given the perfect work-life balance.

Ned: What’s your favorite Ned product?

Rory: I take a dropper of Sleep Blend every night before bed. It helps immensely with both my early morning insomnia and chronic back pain.

Ned: What do you need to do to feel like your best self every day?

Rory: I’m a creature of habit. I thrive on routine.

Ned: How do you like to start your day?

Rory: Reading.

Ned: How do you like to end your day?

Rory: Praying.

Ned: What’s your best tip for stress?

Rory: Slow down. Make a list. Do one thing at a time. Give thanks in all circumstances. Remember tomorrow is a new day.

Ned: What’s your best tip for sleep?

Rory: Sleep Blend, of course ! I also love few things more than climbing into a bed made up with fresh linens.
