Meet Caitlin Sullivan – hormone health coach, fertility awareness educator, and Pilates instructor. We chat with her about simple choices that promote hormone health, living cyclically, and how Ned can help.
Ned: Can you tell us more about the work you do?
Caitlin: I’m a hormone health coach, fertility awareness educator, and Pilates instructor. I bundle all my knowledge together in my brand, the Spring to Life Method. Through Spring to Life Method, the app, I am able to offer women a hybrid self-guided / individualized experience to ‘get synced’ – syncing and regulating their cycles through nutrition, Pilates, and lifestyle adjustments. In my one-on-one program, Feminine Body Independence, I teach women to chart their fertile biomarkers to use their natural cycle as a contraceptive while addressing their ‘normal’ symptoms, balancing hormones, and regulating their cycle.
Ned: What led you to this line of work?
Caitlin: My own journey to hormone health and body literacy led me to dig deeper and deeper into menstrual health and how incredibly vital it is to our well-being as women. I knew I couldn’t be the only one completely clueless about this stuff and I saw a way that all my interests overlapped so I began sharing more and more and developing my unique approach to hormone health.
Ned: What’s the most rewarding aspect of your work?
Caitlin: Seeing other women find joy and peace learning about their bodies is 100% the most rewarding part! We spend a lot of time, especially in our youth, feeling confused and ashamed of our bodies, so guiding women to see the magic within themselves and releasing that stigma is really special.
Ned: What’s your favorite health and wellness ritual?
Caitlin: I love a deluxe shower or bath ritual complete with face masks, dry brushing, and palo santo. It’s so relaxing and it’s fun to pamper yourself!
Ned: What’s one thing you wish more people knew about?
Caitlin: That the female menstrual cycle is an internal blueprint to living in alignment. It explains so much about why we feel the way we do, when we do. It opens up this whole new approach to life that feels so freeing!
Ned: What is one simple way people can begin their wellness journey?
Caitlin: Becoming aware of how their environment affects their well-being. The simple choices about what we expose ourselves to and bring into our homes has such a huge impact on our health, so starting to read labels, ask questions, and notice how our bodies react can have a massive impact on our health.
Ned: What’s your experience with Ned been like?
Caitlin: Great! I love the support and education Ned provides and Ned products are always of the highest quality.
Ned: What product do you love and why?
Caitlin: My go-to has been Balance Blend since I started healing my cycle because it has so many beneficial herbs for women. I’m a huge fan of Ned’s magnesium supplements, Mellö and Shuteye Chai as well. My body handles stress so much better and I sleep like a baby when I drink the chai!
Ned: How do you start your day?
Caitlin: I hydrate first thing with Mellö magnesium and take my supplements. Then I eat breakfast, drink my coffee, and get outside with my three dogs!
Ned: How do you end your day?
Caitlin: If I haven’t already exercised that day, I like to do a Pilates flow, then evening skincare, a movie, and cuddles to send me off to dreamland.
Ned: Who do you follow that really inspires you and why?
Caitlin: Lauryn Bosstick – she is so honest in her journey, unafraid to speak her mind, and an inspiring business woman!
Ned: What’s something you’re grateful for?
Caitlin: The opportunity to follow my passion and make it my source of income.
Ned: What do you see for yourself in the future?
Caitlin: Expanding my brand to operating a brick-and-mortar Pilates and wellness studio for women to educate my community on hormonal health, cyclical living, and low-impact exercise.
Ned: Where can we follow your journey?
Caitlin: My podcast is the Spring to Life podcast wherever you listen – new episodes every Monday!
