When she’s not hard at work supporting our community with understanding how our products work and how to transform their lifestyle to optimize the power of plants, she’s studying herbalism and plant medicine within many traditions, practicing Kundalini yoga, and dancing under the stars.
Ned: Can you share a bit about yourself?
Briana: I’m a plant advocate, a yogini and an energy hygienist. I have studied plant medicine within many traditions and am infinitely amazed by the many ways that plants support us. If I’m not working with plants, you can find me in the mountains by a fire or dancing under the stars.
Ned: What are some of your hobbies?
Briana: I love going to see live music, dancing, singing, talking to my family who lives on the East Coast and studying Human Design, Astrology and Herbalism.
Ned: What are your core values?
Briana: I enjoy living in a way that respects and honors the past, present and future.
Ned: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Briana: Be like a flower and emit your fragrance, regardless if someone approaches.
Ned: What’s your favorite quote?
Briana: "It was always you. You are the library where you should lose yourself. The book you should read. The language you should learn. The place you should voyage. The discovery you should make. All the world's wonder is a song. The notes and the singer are you." - Jaiya John
Ned: What do you do at Ned?
Briana: I support our community with understanding how our products work and how to transform their lifestyle to optimize the power of plants.
Ned: Why do you love working at Ned?
Briana: I consistently have seen an effort from Ret and Adriaan to compassionately hear, see and respect me.
Ned: What’s your favorite Ned product?
Briana: My favorite product is our Body Butter. I love working with it at night and or after a shower. I apply it to my neck and shoulders and watch it unwind tension in my system from the inside, out.
Ned: What do you need to do to feel like your best self every day?
Briana: I require many different types of self-devotion throughout my day, from eating super nourishing foods to clearing my energy field with sound and movement.
Ned: How do you like to start your day?
Briana: My needs change over time but currently I like to start my day with allowing my thoughts to wander and then I move into my Kundalini Yoga practice.
Ned: How do you like to end your day?
Briana: Again, my needs ebb and flow and I adapt my practices to those needs but currently I like to spend time in contemplation and integrating Ayurvedic rituals to calm Vata and Pitta.
Ned: What’s your best tip for stress?
Briana:Trust in the natural unfolding/waves of life.
Ned: What’s your best tip for sleep?
Briana: Before bed, give back to yourself in the same way you give to everyone and everything else during your day.
